Code of conduct

Our goal is to maintain a relaxed atmosphere on Rocket Blast’s TF2 servers, and as such we don’t wish to impose rules that are too restrictive. However, we must ask you to comply with the following rules in order to guarantee a better gaming experience for everyone.

Be aware that you may be kicked and/or banned for:

  • Using cheats, exploits or glitches.
  • Abusive, offensive or otherwise inappropriate language.
  • Accusing another player of cheating without reason. Instead, if someone is cheating you should record a replay (press F6) and report to an admin.
  • Abuse of voice communications (includes broadcasting music).
  • Pornographic, offensive or disturbing sprays.
  • Disruptive play (playing in a manner with the purpose being to deliberately annoy other players on the server).

We are operating a 1 day, 1 week, 1 month and finally permanent ban policy with the exception of instant permanent ban for using cheats. Be aware that you may go immediately to 1 week off depending on the severity of the offense.

Contest ban

Have you been banned from a Rocket Blast TF2 server? Please follow the procedure below to ensure that your ban contest is dealt with as quickly as possible.

To query a ban, you will first need to locate your ban in our ban database. This will show you the reason you have been banned, the admin who banned you and the duration of the ban. If you wish to proceed, you can join us on QuakeNet IRC at #rbtf2 where we can hopefully come to a resolution. We will need your SteamID which you can obtain by joining any server and typing ‘status’ in the console.

Contact us

The appointed community managers are responsible for all decisions made within our community that involves the administration of the servers. Feel free to contact us regarding anything, but please take a moment to read the FAQ first.
